Meet our Preferred Lender John Morgan

Born and raised in West Virginia, I began my journey at WV Tech on a football scholarship before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. I served with distinction in the Presidential Honor Guard, performing over 2,000 ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery as a member of the Navy
Casket Team, and later with the elite Second Reconnaissance Battalion.

Following my service, I entered the mortgage industry in 2005 and quickly established myself as a consistent top producer and production manager. My career spans roles as a wholesale account executive and retail loan officer. I’ve led high-performing teams, including managing a $35–80 million pipeline at Cardinal Financial and, most recently, running the top personal lines insurance team at The Baldwin Group for the past two years.

I’m proud to be the father of three incredible sons—Jackson, Beylor, and Cash—two of whom now serve in the U.S. Navy, continuing the tradition of service—and my beautiful daughter, Blake.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying fit, spending time with my family, and drawing inspiration from my favorite reads, such as Meditations, The Richest Man in Babylon, and The Greatest Salesman on Earth.
