Here’s listing legend-in-making Laura Moye’s advice on preparing your home.
This week I’m honored to be joined by Laura Moye, the top listing agent on our team for the last three years now. Since joining our team, she’s sold a lot more homes than anyone else in Columbia in that span—somewhere in the ballpark of 200! Today I’m asking for her expert opinion on how best to prepare a home for sale, especially in this crazy market of ours. Laura stresses the need for sellers to get an agent’s professional opinion as early on in the process as possible; as she said, “Sometimes, it can actually surprise you what you don’t have to do if the market is strong enough.”

We’ve sold 1,600-plus homes on this team (a total to which Laura has contributed greatly), so we know what we’re doing. When we tell you to get rid of this, fix that, or tweak your definition of a ‘neutral color,’ it’s all in service of our goal to sell your home quickly and for top dollar.
If you have any questions about preparing your home for the market or if you’re ready to let us check out your property and offer insight, reach out to us via phone or email. We’d be more than happy to hear about your situation and be of assistance to you.
